  i have a question for the author of the website jwfacts.

  as i was reading the sparlock article, i couldn't help but notice something seriously wrong:.

  "the bible abounds in vivid fantasy, such as its many celestial descriptions, or the portrayal of warring kingdoms with imaginary beasts.. the sparlock message is confusing, as much for an adult as for a child, as the bible shows that god's followers practice magic, even if they are usually referred to as miracles.

  Straight answer: I believe miracles exist and unexplained phenomenon that could be considered "magic".

  Sorry DL, I didn't see your question til just now. I've mostly been influenced by Movie Scores. I love James Horner, John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Thomas Newman (my favorite), Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, etc... So I write sort of in that vein. FL Studio I mostly use to create the drum tracks. Although for the most part I just stick to orchestration without drums.

  I'll upload it soon and post it here when I can.

  I thought I was clear about what I think about it, Elderelite. No, I don't necessarily see a difference. The only difference I see is WHO is responsible for the physical change. If someone claiming to follow Satan performed a miracle, then I would think that it would be CALLED "Magic" or "Sorcery".

  I appeal to the accounts in Exodus. When Moses did something, it was called a miracle. If the "Magic Practicing Preists" did the same thing, it would've been considered "Magic". Whether they actually DID the "miracles" or "magic" or if it was just a sleight of hand trick of illusion, I don't know. But their practice would've been called "Magic", while Moses' was called a "miracle".

  All that being said, I think you have to be careful with the term "Magic" since it means many different things in English. All magic is not bad. It's only that which is attributed to the devil or other spirits that I believe is condemned in the Bible.
